My mini concentration is a series of three photos using macro with a utensil that everybody uses in their everyday life. Not very many people look closely at the tip of the pencil or writing on a pencil.

  1. The description matched it very well. I think you did a good job very original but overall it turned out great. I really like the picture of the pencil and the writing, that picture turned out the best because it’s not just a pencil but you also input the things it can do. My least favorite picture was the last one, it was a little blurry and it just didn’t turn out the greatest compared to the other ones, for example you could have taken a picture of the other side of the pencil but other than that it looks great.

  2. the description matches the photo. Over all I liked it. My favorite one is the first one, the pencil writing. I like how its blurry around the outside. My least favorite one is the last one, the pencil with all the other pens and pencils. Its good I just don’t like it as best as the other two and I really don’t know why…haha good job overall! (:

  3. The description is accurate. Overall I think it’s a cool idea. One good picture is the second one highlighting the tip with other pencils blurred. One not so good is the last one because it doesn’t really follow the theme. I think there is room for improvement, especially in the editing department. There are weird tints to all the photos.

  4. Overall these are nice images. I wish you had explained your idea/concentration a little more. What were you emphasizing in these images? Line? Space? The first one is nice, but I wish the pencil wasn’t dead center…the rule of thirds would have helped. The second and third are both nice photos and use shallow depth of field well. I’m not sure if you wanted the yellow tones, but you could have white balanced them a bit. Overall nice work.
